Following an SOS call from a wife of one of our Bournemouth based GPs, to make him a basic set of scrubs for work as he only had a plastic apron
as PPE, this soon escalated to his whole practice and two others besides.
A simple basic set of scrubs was designed and then, in collaboration with Millbrook Beds, we were able to access their computerised cutting
machine and some of their sewers to help us free of charge. Belledorm kindly donated the fabric.
The scrubs were then completed in Marine Bedding's workshop and donated free of charge.
The end result was 56 sets of scrubs were made in 5 days and distributed to all 3 GP practices.
